Client Advisory Operations Associate – West Los Angeles

• As part of a 50-person firm, work on a small team to serve clients.

The Financial Planning Specialist – Pasadena, California
The Specialist will work within a collaborative team of experienced investment professionals and client service specialists to deliver wealth management services to firm’s clients. As Investment Counselors, we are committed to a fiduciary standard of care in providing objective, professional investment advice and portfolio management to our clients. In this role you will collaborate with Investment Counselors to support the firm’s financial planning offerings. Your responsibilities will include gathering essential client data, using financial planning software, preparing client-ready presentations and working with external professionals. 

  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP ®) Candidate
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience 
  • Ability to work successfully in an entrepreneurial, small-company environment

Expected base salary for the role will generally be $70,000 – $90,000 per annum at the commencement of employment.

The Associate is responsible for optimizing portfolios and initiating equity and fixed income trades based on guidance from the research teams, portfolio targets, and account management guidelines. Client Services Manager – West Los Angeles
The position is responsible for managing the client services team, preparing standard and ad-hoc reporting and handling client inquiries and requests. This role requires an acute attention to detail, organizational capabilities, management skills, collaboration with a variety of departments and excellent client services skills.

  • Manage the client services initiatives of the firm
  • Supervise the development and preparation of marketing materials to support client service and marketing efforts such as pitchbooks, executive summaries, investor reports and RFPs
  • Assist in preparation for investor and prospective investor meetings
  • Act as a contact for clients and prospective clients and respond to investor inquiries
  •  Provide exceptional customer service to clients and prospective clients
  •  Assist with investor subscription activity in accordance with the fund’s offering documents
  • Maintain distribution information for various forms and materials
  • Work with internal groups such as accounting, operations, legal and compliance as needed to respond to client questions and requests

    Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of relevant expertise, plus supervisory experience
  • Working knowledge of capital markets and experience with fixed income
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in investor services or related field (financial services/fund administration, corporate communications, portfolio management, or securities analysis) and a familiarity with the workings of the capital markets

Investment Counselor – Pasadena, California

Seeking an Investment Counselor to work within a collaborative team of experienced investment professionals and client service specialists to deliver wealth management services to firm’s clients. As Investment Counselors, we are committed to a fiduciary standard of care in providing objective, professional investment advice and portfolio management to our clients. The Investment Counselor establishes trusted relationships with each client, providing holistic advice to preserve and grow wealth in support of each client’s financial and personal goals. This position is financial planning-focused and is responsible for generating new client relationships as well as supporting existing firm clients. While Portfolio Strategy is a key responsibility for this position, day-to-day portfolio management is not.

  • Planning background with Certified Financial Planner (CFP ®) designation required
  • 7 – 10 years of experience in investment management and/or financial advisory services with demonstrated ability to develop and manage financial plans and client relationships
  • Proven track record of working with high- and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families
  • Ability to work successfully in an entrepreneurial, small-company environment
    Expected base salary for the role will generally be $150,000 – 200,000 per annum at the commencement of employment.

Client Service Specialist – Pasadena, California
The Specialist works within a collaborative culture of experienced investment professionals to deliver wealth management services to the firm’s clients. The primary duty is to assist the Investment Counselor in the fulfillment of client needs. This role requires knowledge of processes, strong communication skills and being a reliable team player. Client Service includes all of the support activities and tasks necessary for the successful implementation of portfolio management and investment counseling strategies in the achievement of our clients’ goals. Maintain Salesforce and Orion (client investment accounting and reporting system database) and interface with custodians to monitor clients’ accounts (registration, security, cost basis match, and transaction review and coding). Bachelor’s degree, 3 to 5 years work experience in financial services industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with Salesforce and Orion a plus. $60,000 – 75,000 base.
